Judge Bates employs two rotational law clerks, each serving a one-year term. Judge Bates has now filled the clerkship positions for the term commencing in September 2009. Although the normal hiring process for the term commencing in September 2010 is expected to begin in September 2009, Judge Bates will consider applications from third-year law students and law school graduates for the 2010-2011 term beginning immediately.
